Université Laval offers various tools and training in the area of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Here are a few examples:

Inclusive Writing Guide

A Guide to Inclusive Writing was developed by the team of the Communications Department at Université Laval. Inclusive writing seeks to reduce discrimination in writing and aims at equal representation of all people. This guide is a tool to help you write more inclusively.

Training on unconscious bias 

The Canada Research Chairs Program has developed the Unconscious Bias and the Peer Review Process training. The presentation is available in English and French.

Training on EDI in University Research & Grant Applications  

The training was developed by the Réseau Interuniversitaire Québécois EDI and the EDI2 Institute, in collaboration with the Chair for Women in Science and Engineering and the granting agencies.
